David L. Gray Obituary (Age 81) Dave passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 27, 2015 after a short courageous battle with Lymphoma.He was born on April 27, 1934 in Bell, CA to Harty and Donna Gray. Following graduation, Dave enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served as a Pararescue Jumper and Survival Instructor. He retired in 1979 as the Survival Training Superintendent at Fairchild Air Force Base. Dave had 5 children, but on November 12, 1973 he married Joyce Tyson and welcomed her 2 children to the gray troop and raised them as his own. After retirement Dave and Joyce moved to Springdale to enjoy the quiet life. In 1992 they began construction on their beautiful cabin, completing the build in 1995 with most of the materials coming from their own property. Dave was preceded in death by his 2 children Billy and Jeff and his brother Gene. He leaves behind his loving wife of 41 years Joyce; 5 children: Pam Lou, Paula, Pam Lynn, Jody and Jill as well as 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Memorial contributions may be made in Dave?s name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 123 NW 36th Ave., Suite 100, Seattle, WA 98107. The family would like to thank everybody for all of their love and support throughout this difficult time. At Dave?s request no services will be held at this time. Dave and his wonderful sense of humor will be missed by everybody who knew and loved him.
