Deborah "Deb" Kay Spannagel Obituary Deb passed away at her home in Spokane, WA on November 21, 2016. She was born on May 17, 1953 in Spokane, WA to Chauncey Wells Hoyt and Loraine Hoyt. Deb graduated from Cheney High School in 1971 and attended classes at Spokane Falls Community College. Deb married Clark D. (Dave) Spannagel in 1973 at the First Baptist Church in downtown Spokane. Deb lived in Spokane all but two short years, which was in Danville, Illinois at an early age. She worked at Burt Henry Realtor Agency, Medical Service Corporation and was church secretary at Euclid Avenue Baptist Church, Living Water Community Church, Phelps and Associates Law Firm and most recently as church secretary for South Hill Bible Church. She enjoyed riding horses, singing in church choirs, reading, daily bible devotions, regular outings with close friends and most of all helping raise two sons. She attended Life Center Church. She was a member of the Cheney High School Ambassadors chorale. She was very benevolent, often without the recipient knowing who was providing for them. She always had a smile and never had a complaint, even during her three year fight with cancer. Deb is survived by her husband of 43 years, Clark D. Spannagel and sons, Nathan E. Spannagel and Travis J. Spannagel who reside in Spokane, WA. Deb is also survived by her sister, Sue Krueger and her husband Ken Krueger of Spokane, WA and her sister Sandi Astolfi and her husband Rick Astolfi of Kennewick, WA. Deb was preceded in death by her father Chauncey Wells Hoyt and mother Loraine P. Hoyt who lived in Spokane, WA. Deb's Memorial Service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 3, at South Hill Bible Church located at 958 E 29th Ave, Spokane, WA 99203.
