Deborah Lynn "Debbie" La Chance Obituary LOVING WIFE, MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER, SISTER AND FRIEND. Born in Baltimore, Maryland to Mildred (Milly) Ann Cheek and Raymond Harold Cheek (preceded in death ). Being a part of a military family Debbie and family traveled all over the world before landing in Clarkston, Washington where she graduated High School in 1978. She then entered the Army, serving 4 years and then continued her working career at the Base Exchange, Burbee, and Petrocard, prior to retiring in 2015. She is survived by her loving husband Louis I. La Chance and 4 Loving Children, Travis, Megan (Chris), Britt ( Luci) and Devin (Adison); as well as 7 siblings Jim (Pat), Martha, Mike (Ardell), Ken, Linda (Leonard), Pam, Christopher (Gina). Debbie was the most genuine of friends, always making herself available to everyone, no matter when, where, or for what. She lived life to the fullest no matter the circumstances. Her family will always remember her as the peacemaker of the family. Her laughter and smile is and will be missed by all who had the chance to meet her. The funeral service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 11:30am with a graveside service to follow at 1:30pm at the Medical Lake Veterans Cemetery (21702 W. Espanola Rd., Medical Lake, WA 99022).
