Del A. Croff Obituary (Age 77) Entered into rest June 5, 2010 in Spokane, WA. He was born June 13, 1932 in Great Falls, Montana, an only son to Gladys and George Croff. Del leaves behind his loving wife and sweetheart Patty of 60 years; their much loved children, Deborah Simpson (Don), Tari Croff (Giulio), John Croff , Christine Swan (Larry), Darrell Croff (partner Darren), Cheri Croff (Mila), Dustin Croff (Michelle); eleven grandchildren, Dusty, Michelle, Rosanna, Eugenio, Katie, Jody, Katie, Jennifer, Jessica, Chiayo, Gitan; and ten great-grandchildren. Del was dedicated to providing for his family by working over 50 years as an accomplished advertising sign painter. He became well known for his artful window splashes here in Spokane the last 34 years. His passion for music brought many many hours of enjoyment to the entire family and friends. He played a mean ragtime, with accomplishment in the stride style. Del designed and built over 400 balsa and tissue models. He loved the pure simplicity of this hobby and the serenity of flying them. Del deeply loved and respected his wife and family always. He truly was a great humanitarian! Del's family would like to thank the compassionate support of Deaconess and Rockwood. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Spokane Humane Society. He will be deeply missed! A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
