Delbert L. Stone Obituary (Age 78) Delbert passed away on June 18, 2011 in Spokane, WA. He was born on October 18, 1932 in Metaline Falls, WA to Richard and Alice Stone. Delbert grew up in Metaline Falls and Portland, OR until age 11 when he moved to Spokane and became a life long resident. He attended Rogers High School, joined the Naval Reserves and spent most of his adult life as a Long Haul Trucker, working for Beardmore, B-Line Trucking and others. At the time of his retirement he was employed by Scollard's Dry Cleaning. Delbert is survived by his children Dean, Denise and Tamra, and step-children Rhonda, Don and Buck. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert, and Donna Varney Stone, his beloved wife who passed away in 2008. At Delbert's request there will be no Funeral Services.
