Delmar Borgens Obituary Delmar Borgens passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 2nd at 95 years old. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, of 69 years; his daughter Dee Dee Logsdon (Dean), son David Borgens (Carol), five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Del was born in Wapato, the youngest of 6 sons. He grew up there and later in Ritzville, WA. He served in the navy for two years, graduated from Washington State University with a degree in electrical engineering in 1950 and spent the last 32 years of his working career at Boeing. Del was very involved in his community and his church. He retired from Boeing in 1987 and later moved with Barbara from Seattle to Spokane in 1999. In Spokane he continued in service to his church, enjoyed fishing, attending WSU football games and time with family and friends. Del's family and friends will miss him, but know he is now with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and that we will see him again. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, July 16th, 11am at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N. Government Way. In lieu of flowers, consider sending a donation to Hospice of Spokane.
