Delores Marten 12/23/1939 � 03/03/2024 Delores was born on December 23rd, 1939 to Albert and Nina Knutson in Aberdeen, WA. Delores passed away on March 3rd, 2024. She was the oldest of four girls, sisters Darlene, Linda, and Edna. The family moved to Spokane, Washington around 1950 and has remained in the area ever since. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Father, and sisters Linda and Edna. She is survived by her sister Darlene, her four children, Ray (Donna), Loretta (Tommy), Julie and Rhonda (Larry). Delores had 8 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Once her children were all in school, Delores went to work at Spokane School Dist. 81. She returned to college in the 1970�s to get her college degree, as well as certificates in Early Childhood Education/Development. Her work with the school district included working as a Teachers Aid, working with special needs children, as well as teaching ESL (English Second Language). Delores was confirmed at Our Saviors Lutheran Church and was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. She loved the Lord with all her heart. She was known as being a �Tough Norski�. Her family came first, always! She learned at an early age how to lead by example, accomplish whatever you set your mind to, never give up, and live each day to its fullest. Our lives will be forever changed without you. We love you, Mom! A
