It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis L. “Denny” Hubbell on July 29, 2026, at South Hill Rehabilitation and Care Center, following complications from a stroke.
Denny was born in Tekoa, Washington, to Clifford and Pearl Hubbell. He spent the rest of his life in Spokane, where he graduated from North Central High School in 1960. In 1964, he joined the Army National Guard, beginning a lifetime of service and involvement in his community.
Denny lived life with enthusiasm and a genuine love for the people and activities that brought him joy. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed hunting, golf, and bowling. He treasured the friendships he made throughout his life and was an active member of Kiwanis, Spokane Country Club, Wandermere Golf Club, and The Spokane Club.
Denny also took great pride in his career. He began working in the printing industry with Pioneer Business Forms and, in 1987, took a leap of faith and started his own company, Business Forms, Inc. His entrepreneurial spirit, hard work, and determination helped make the business a success and became an important part of his life.
Above all, Denny will be remembered for the relationships he built and the people he loved. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Peggy; his son, Scott Hubbell (Kelly) and their three daughters; his daughter, Stephanie Hubbell Sansom; his stepson, Tom Davis (Megan); his brother, Jerry Hubbell (Marilyn); his sister, Kathy St. Andrew (Rich); and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Clifford Hubbell, his mother, Pearl Hubbell and his brother, Gene Hubbell.
Denny leaves behind a lifetime of memories—family gatherings, friendships, golf outings, sporting events, hunting trips, business adventures, and countless everyday moments that will be remembered and cherished by those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Wandermere Clubhouse on August 28th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. While the family knows just how many lives Danny touched, the occupational capacity of the clubhouse is limited to 100 guests and therefore this event is only for close family and friends over the age of 21.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Denny’s name to an animal shelter of your choice, particularly one that supports cats.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has reached out with their love, friendship, support, and memories of Denny. Your kindness means more to our family than words can express.

"Sending you so much love, Peggy, and keeping you and your family in my prayers. I’ll always remember how kind and welcoming you and Denny were when I first joined the bowling league. He will be deeply missed. Leanne and Les
