1941-2025

Born September 15, 1941 in Kellogg, Idaho to her father, Bernard Redinger, a Silver Valley miner, and her mother, Bernadine (Sliger) Redinger, a nurse and homemaker, joining her six-year-old brother John at their Kellogg home.

The family moved to the Spokane Valley when her father became ill, later passing away.

Diana attended West Valley High School, graduating in 1959.  During her time in high school, her stepfather, Charlie, helped her become an accomplished marksman in rifle shooting competitions, earning herself many medals and trophies.

After graduation, Diana worked at Spokane Title for thirty years, retiring in the 1990’s.  After her retirement she enjoyed spending many hours with her mother and stepfather, enjoying Sunday dinners and family gatherings with her brother and his family.  She also enjoyed her annual gatherings with her friends from work.

On September 17, 2025, Diana peacefully passed away at Sacred Heart Medical Center, just two days after her 84th birthday. She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, Charles Farnham.

She is survived by her brother, John Redinger (Kirsten) of Ione, WA; nieces Liz Larson (Brad) of Metaline Falls, WA, and Colleen Nickless (Doyle) of Redmond, OR; nephew Hans Redinger (Julie) of Burien, WA; six great-nieces and nephews and twelve great, great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 West Wellesley Avenue on Wednesday, October 8 at 2:30 p.m.  Heritage Funeral & Cremation is handling the arrangements.

The family will miss our classy, elegant aunt and sister.  We all love you!
