Donald Scott Griffith, lovingly known as “Donny,” was born on June 13, 1963, in Spokane, Washington. He grew up in Spokane, attending local schools and graduating from Shadle Park High School.

Donny spent much of his young adulthood in Spokane before moving to Western Montana, where he lived for a couple decades. He was lover of all dogs, especially his later dog, Cooper who he had an unbreakable bond with. He found joy in the great outdoors and built a career as a furniture salesman. Eventually, he returned to Spokane to be closer to his cherished friends and family.

A devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers, Donny also had a passion for golfing, exploring nature, and making lasting memories with his loved ones. Above all, he treasured his role as a father and grandfather. His five grandchildren brought him immense joy, and he embraced every moment spent with them.

Donny passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025. He is survived by his three loving daughters, Christina (Ryan) Conley, Nicole (Adam) Krabbe, and Rochelle (Eric) Davis; his adored grandchildren, Jack, Belle, Wesley, Kori, and Rhett; his mother, Sherri; his brother Jeff and wife, Sharon; his brother Ken; his sister, Michelle; and numerous beloved friends and extended family members.

Donny will be deeply missed for his compassionate spirit, his warm and caring heart, and his ever-present desire to bring joy and laughter to those around him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A service will be held on June 14, 2025, 9 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
