Donald E. Bailey, Sr. Obituary (Age 83) On September 18, 2014 our beloved husband, father and grandfather quietly slipped away in his sleep to be with his Heavenly Father. Don was born in Tensed, ID on July 7, 1931. He was one of six children born to Lloyd and Florence Bailey. Don was in the National Guard six years, a member of Carpenters Local Union 98 for 45 years and a longtime member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God. He is survived by his adoring wife of 65 years, Mary M. Bailey; four children: Dawnell, Donald, Jr., Daniel and Darcie, including several grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23 from 10 am ? 5 pm at Heritage Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 24 at 2 pm at Sunset Chapel located inside Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W Wellesley, Spokane, WA. Don was a strong man that believed in hard work and honesty. He instilled those values in his children. We will be forever grateful for his constant love, guidance and support. He will be greatly missed.
