Donald Ernest Stockman, 87, of Spokane Washington, passed away Friday October 10, 2025. Donald passed peacefully with his son's Bryan and Darrin Stockman by his side after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia at Hospice House of Spokane.

Don was born July 26, 1938, to Ernest & Helen Stockman in Ritzville, Washington. He married Sharon Mayneen Eddy on February 7, 1959, together they had three sons, Bryan, Darrin and Michael.

Don was a small business owner for most of his adult life until an unfortunate early retirement. He spent the next 10 years or so driving from KOA and State Parks volunteering, across the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Sharon, all enjoying the beauty the PNW has to offer.

He was an original member of the Dragon Car Club of Greater Spokane. Club members built and shown cars at show all over the northwest. Don was the proud owner of 1954 Pontiac Chieftain Convertible, affectionately named "The Orchid Lady."

Don is survived by his wife, Sharon of 67 years, son Bryan (DeeDee) of Spokane, son Darrin of Spokane and son Michael (Jewel) Rathdrum, Id. grandchildren Amanda (Drew), Cody (Ellen), Tyler (Laura), Dylan (Alyx), Wyatt and Coutney, along with 7 Great grandchildren with two more on the way expected in February & May 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest & Helen Stockman and a sister Mary Lou Swyter.

A Memorial Service will be held at Life River Fellowship 2810 N. Park Rd. Spokane Vally at 11:00am Saturday November Pt, 2025.

Donations may be made to Hospice House of Spokane or a charity for the Blind.
