Donald Lee Shea Obituary Donald Lee Shea born October 19, 1938, passed away on March 19, 2014 following a prolonged battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) at his winter home in Tucson, AZ. Don is survived by his wife, Mary Buntrock Shea; his son, Patrick Shea, Cheney; daughters, Gina Jackson, Cheney, Lia Talvi, Wasilla, AK; brother, Robert Shea, Cheney; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Don attended Northwest Nazarene College and Eastern Washington State College. Don had a successful insurance business in Cheney. He was extremely active in the community and rose to the position of Lt. Governor in Kiwanis. He earned the George T. Hixon award in September of 1996. Don also was honorably discharged from the National Guard and received the Honorary Veterans Award for his military service to America and for advancing the universal hope of freedom and liberty for all. He loved international travel and to tour the U.S. in his motor coach. The many friends made throughout his life will truly miss him. Be with God.
