June 21, 1934 – December 8, 2024
Donna Joan Dias, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2024, in Nine Mile Falls, Washington, at the age of 90. Born on June 21, 1934, in Wichita, Kansas, Donna lived a full and vibrant life, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she met.
Donna spent most of her life in California, where she and her late husband, Hank Dias, raised their family and built a successful business. Together, they created a home filled with love, laughter, and enduring memories. Donna was predeceased by her husband Hank, her son David, and her daughter Laurie, all of whom she cherished deeply.
Donna had a zest for life that was unmatched. She loved spending time with her family and friends, sharing a glass of red wine, and enjoying evenings at the casino. Her perfect night included a delicious dinner, good conversation, and perhaps a spin on the slots. Donna also delighted in the simple pleasures—walking outdoors, soaking up the sun, and savoring fresh air. Known for her generosity and impeccable taste, Donna brought warmth and elegance to every occasion.
She is survived by her loving son, Michael Dias, and his wife, Jeanine. Donna leaves behind a beautiful legacy of 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
Donna will be remembered for her love of family, her vibrant spirit, and her ability to make everyone feel welcome. She will be deeply missed but forever celebrated by those fortunate enough to have known her.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to a charity close to Donna’s heart or simply raising a glass of red wine in her memory.
