Donna Lee Berg Obituary (Age 86) Donna was born August 29, 1930 to parents Frank and Zelva Cozzetto in Spokane, WA. Our beloved mother went home to be with the Lord August 14, 2017, surrounded by her family at Moran Vista Senior Living, where she had lived for nine years. Mom was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved and cherished her family. As a young woman, she worked for a short time at the telephone company and at 14 years old, worked at the Orpheum Theater downtown that would only hire red heads as ushers. She married Duane Berg in 1949. They were soul mates for 63 years before Dads death in 2012. During that time, she was devoted to raising her family, along with working at Jamesons Grocery Store. Mom and Dad had a strong faith in the Lord and spent a lot of time with their church family when living in Hayden, ID. All of us enjoyed the family lake cabin for many years and have fond memories of campfires till midnight and water skiing on the lake. Donna is survived by her sons, Gary (Janet) Berg, Terry (Denise) Berg; brother-in-law, Marlin (Betty) Berg of Portland, OR; brothers, Joe Cozzetto and Jim Rosa; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Cozzetto, Charlotte Cozzetto; first cousins, Joanne Schuetzle and Dick Castleman; five grandchildren, Lindsey (Chad) Hardy, Molly (Tony) Berg, Anthony (Brianna) Berg, Jennifer Berg, Jacqueline (Abe) Bringolf; five great-grandchildren, Olivia Berube, Emma and Noah Hardy, Fiona Berg, Theodore Bringolf; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Thanks to Moran Vista for the care and supporting staff who watched over our mother. We express our heartfelt thanks to Hospice of Spokane for their most caring and generous support in this difficult time of our lives. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 26th at 2pm at Heritage Funeral Home.
