Donna Leno

Donna Leno Obituary Donna Lucille (Hudson) Leno passed away October 12, 2014 at the age of 84 at the Hospice House South in Spokane, Washington, following a brief hospitalization for cancer. Donna was born December 5, 1929 to Laurence and Grace Hudson in McMinnville, Oregon, and lived on the family farm until she went away to school at Laurelwood Academy near Jasper, Oregon, and then to Walla Walla College, in College Place, Washington. She was a long time resident of the Walla Walla area, having moved there in 1960 with her husband, H. Lloyd Leno and their two young children. She later graduated from Walla Walla Community College and worked as a registered nurse at Walla Walla General Hospital and the offices of Jimmie Losey, M.D. and Barry Kellogg, M.D. After her husband?s death in 1998, Donna moved from Vancouver, Washington, to her home in College Place, Washington, where she resided until being hospitalized in September of 2014. She belonged to the Walla Walla University Seventh-day Adventist Church, enjoyed her friends and family in the area and was an active volunteer at Gospel Outreach, a Seventh-day Adventist missionary organization. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, and her sister, Louise Rea. She is survived by son, Michael Leno, and his wife, Sondra, of Beaumont, California; son, Douglas Leno, and his wife, Jeannie, of Meridian, Idaho; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. at the Walla Walla University Church in College Place, WA. Memorial donations may be sent to Gospel Outreach in her honor.
