Dora B. Dromgoole Obituary (Age 88) Dora B. Dromgoole was born on August 4, 1928 to E.D. and Catherine King in Geronimo, OK. Dora grew up on a farm in Sulfur, OK where she developed her love of gardening and preserving the fruits of her labor, which she continued well into her later years. In the growing off-season, she enjoyed quilting for her family and friends. She spent many years dedicating her life to helping others through their golden years as a nurses aide in various nursing homes. After a long, courageous battle with Alzheimers, Dora passed away peacefully on December 12, surrounded by family. Dora is survived by her two daughters, Catherine (Ted) Carter of Spokane and Loretta Whorton of Aubrey, TX; two grandchildren, Teresa Haire and Brian Whorton; three great grandchildren, Justin, Stacie and Bristol; two great great grandchildren, Bradyn and Kayleigh; a brother, Jack King; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and three brothers. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15th from 10am5pm and Friday, December 16th from 8am5pm at Heritage Funeral Home and a funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 17th at 11am at Heritage Funeral Home.
