Dora E. Powell Obituary (Age 84) Dora, a long-time Spokane resident, passed away on February 21, 2015 in Spokane, WA. She was born on March 16, 1930 in Wenatchee, WA to Wayne and Clara Powell. Dora volunteered at the Indian Community Center and the Foster Grandparent Program. She is preceded in death by her sons, Charles H. and Patrick W. Smith. Dora is survived by her children, Michael C. Smith, Gail D. Smith, Diane (James) Wright and Randy E. Smith; 13 grandchildren, Meghan, Gary, Juston, Jesse, Irisha, Mike, Lisa, Johnathon, Ben, Alex, Kayleen, Kate and Sarah; and 13 great-grandchildren. Viewing will take place on Wednesday, March 4 from 10 am - 5 pm at Heritage Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 2 pm at Heritage Funeral Home with reception to follow on site. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dora's name may be made to the Spokane American Indian Community Center, 801 East 2nd Avenue #10, Spokane, WA 99202.
