Dorothy J. Wallen Obituary (Age 88) Dorothy went to be with her Lord on November 27, 2014 at the age of 88. She was born on March 25, 1926 to Walter and Della Norman in Athol, ID. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband Noel Wallen and her sisters Kathryn Perry and Meta Perry. She is survived by her children Martha (Ken) Grimmett, Edith (Roland) Woodward, Dixie (Cliff) Murphy, Sharon Brubaker, and Mary (Sherwood) Orvik and her close friend Chuck Winkler. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She excelled at being a talented homemaker and seamstress. She is well known in the community and by many charities for her beautiful quilts. She was a long time member of the Church of the Nazarene. For many years she wintered with her sisters in Yuma, AZ. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 3:00PM at Heritage Funeral Home.
