Dorothy Marie Garza Obituary Dorothy was born to Cecil and Ivy Pruit on December 16, 1927, in Portales, New Mexico. With 14 siblings Troy, Lou, James, June and 10 deceased. Dorothy married Raymond Garza on My 28th, 1947. Dorothy is survived by her children Lillie, Raymond (Kathy), Juanita, Betty (Scott), Bobby (Vicky), and Mary (Bill); as well as 22 grandchildren (2 deceased), 31 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband in 1991. Dorothy was the rock to our family, and she was the greatest mother and grandparent any person could ever ask for. We LOVE you MOM and will miss you dearly. We are forever grateful to have you in our lives. Best Mother Ever!!!!!! A very special thank you to our sister Lillie for her attentiveness to moms needs and care. And thank you to Hospice of Spokane for their grace, guidance and caring for our mother. It is much appreciated, and to friends and family for all your support, care, and PRAYERS. A public viewing will be at Heritage Funeral Home on June 6th from 1-5 PM. Her graveside service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Terrace on Government Way on June 7th at 2:30 PM.
