Dorothy May Revel Obituary (Age 84) Her beautiful soul went home on September 16, 2017 in Spokane. She was born December 26, 1932 in Butte, MT to Frank George and Agnes May (Melichar) Murray. She was the Shepherdess of her family and a simple servant of the Lord. Caring for her family and friends gave her great joy. As a young girl she was raised in Avery, ID and Atherton, MT. She married Robert K. Revel October 6, 1951. In Spokane she worked for Safeway, Hutton Settlement Childrens Home and West Valley High School as a baker. After retiring Dorothy and Bob moved to Lake Roosevelt. Her favorite hobbies were gardening, fishing, baking and being involved with 4-H sheep raising. She made sure the wildlife in her back yard had food. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Egypt, WA. She is survived by daughters Darla (Stephen) Johnstone and Valerie (James) Lindblad; sisters Helen (Ed) Sanger and Joy (Glen) Stocking; grandchildren Aneska (Tracy) Elam, Sasha (Toak) Scarlett, Jason Johnstone and Jon (Brianna) Johnstone; great-grandchildren Ethan and Colter Elam, Ryder and Harper Scarlett. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Memorial Service 10am Saturday October 28, 2017 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3606 S. Schafer Rd. Spokane Valley, WA. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, Egypt, WA, Hutton Settlement, Hospice House South or Redeemer Lutheran Church.
