Douglas L. Denton Obituary (Age 74) Douglas was a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was born in Seattle and raised in Spokane. He attended Stevens Grade School and graduated from North Central High School in 1959. He was married to Lynda (White) Denton for 53 years. They had three children: Dana L. Denton, David W. Denton (Tracey) and Darren J. Denton. They also have nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is survived by two sisters: Valerie J. Anderson and Lynn McSweeney. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty J. (Smith) Snyder and father Burton L. Denton; also, a step-brother Jan Tresner. Doug was often referred as a jack of all trades and master of none. There were few things he couldn't or hadn't done. He was in advertising sales for many years and owned several business, including two swimming pool companies. He always had a joke to tell and a smile on his face. He would take care of anyone who needed a helping hand He will be missed by everyone who knew him. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 10 at 11:00 am at Heritage Chapel on Government Way. He is in God's hands.
