Earl Dallas Gurney Obituary (Age 78) Earl passed away on December 20, 2014 in Spokane, WA. He was born on January 12, 1936 in Spokane, WA to parents Frank Gurney and Ella Hahn. Earl served in the Vietnam War and retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service from 1953 to 1973. He also worked for Spokane Transit Authority as a bus driver where he retired after 18 years. Earl loved Westie dogs and tinkering with cars. He is survived by his wife Robbie of 26 years; children Sheryl Doughty, Mike Gurney, Shonna Truitt; step-daughter Jennie Santiago; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 11 am at Heritage Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. A potluck reception will follow at 1 pm at the VFW Post 51, 300 W Mission Ave, Spokane, WA 99201.
