Earle B. Wilsey Obituary (Age 91) Earle passed away on May 10, 2012 in Spokane, WA. He was born August 22, 1920 in Iowa City, IA to Clarence and Ruth (Barkson) Wilsey. Earle served in the Marine Air Corps as a dive bomber pilot in the south Pacific during WW II. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in journalism and spent his career working in the newspaper industry. Earle raised his family in Iowa and California and resided in Spokane the last 30 years. He was a member of The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. Earle is survived by his children: Jayne Wilsey, Carmel, CA; Marsha Bertain, Ukiah, CA; Mary Beth Culbertson, Marina, CA; Craig Palmer, San Francisco, CA, and Marti Palmer Stone, Spokane, WA, plus 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and his sister Judith Savignac, Wind Lake, WI. He was preceded in death by his wife Sally Palmer-Wilsey. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 1:00pm at The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 127 E. 12th Ave., Spokane.
