Edith E. Carr Obituary (Age 91) Edith was born in Oakley, Kansas on September 30, 1922, and passed away in Spokane, WA on November 9, 2013. She had resided in Oakley until her move to Spokane in 2006 to live with her daughter and son-in-law. She is survived by her daughter Janie (Sam) Selley of Spokane and her son Roger (Donna) Carr of San Angelo, Texas. She was the proud grandmother of five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2:00 pm at North Hill Christian Church, 4620 N Post, Spokane, WA 99205. An additional memorial service and burial will take place in her home town of Oakley, Kansas later in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church, 611 N Maple, Oakley, KS 67748.
