Edward Otis Vlasin Obituary (Age 62) Ed was born August 3, 1949, to Otis and Lena Vlasin in Grant, NE. Passed away on October 29, 2011. In the US Army from 1965-1974, served with the 101st Airborne Division 1969-70 in the Vietnam War. Raised in Denver, CO. In 1977 he moved with his wife and son to Boise, ID. In 1995 moved to Nine Mile Falls, WA. Ed enjoyed boating, fishing and camping. Preceded in death by parents Otis and Lena Vlasin, sister Gloria Richardson and husband Daniel, brother-in-law Edward Grimm. Survived by wife of 41 years, Mary; son Marcus (Sheryl); sisters Deanna (Jim) Beachman, Joyce Grimm, Beverly (Steven) Haskins; numerous neices and nephews. Memorial services in Denver will be delayed as well as the interment ceremony in Madrid, NE. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 910 W 5th #256, Spokane, WA 99204.
