Elaine F. Lopes Obituary (Age 91) Elaine F. Lopes passed away April 17, 2016 in Cheney, WA. She was born in Montesano, WA on January 25, 1925 to Lynn H. Bower and Myrtle E. Allanson. Most of her adult life, Elaine lived in Spokane until 1974 when she and Lee moved to the Seattle area, living North and later, living in the Lacy, Tumwater area. They returned to Spokane in 2002. Elaine is survived by 4 children: Karen M. Schiffner of Cheney, WA, Steven Gaudette of Moscow, ID, Sheri Long of Sumner, WA and Robert Gaudette of Idaho Falls, ID; 5 stepsons: Richard Lopes of the Seattle area, Dave Lopes, Douglas Lopes of Pullman, WA, Donald Lopes of Ione, WA and Daniel Lopes; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Elaine was preceded in death by Alfred Gaudette, Elton E. ?Lee? Lopes, her parents and grandchild Jenifer Thruston. A memorial service for Elaine will be held on Sunday, April 24th, at 1pm at the home of Donna Schiffner 33036 S. Badger Lake Rd. Cheney, WA.
