Elmer Brewster Dunham Obituary (Age 96) Elmer B. Dunham passed away May 27, 2018 in Spokane, WA. He was born on December 20, 1921 in Deer Park, WA to Theodore Edwin and Jane (Agar) Dunham. He grew up in the Deer Park/Clayton area on a farm and was the youngest of nine children. He served in the Army during WWII. He drove truck and did various hauling jobs until he became a carpenter in the 1950�s. He was a carpenter until he retired in 1985. Elmer married Betty Hall on September 4, 1947; they recently celebrated 70 years of marriage. Elmer lived in the 5 Mile/Spokane area his whole life. Elmer and Betty had four boys, Ted, Tom, Jim and Scott. Elmer was a member of the Carpenter Union, Master of 5 Mile Grange and was on the 5 Mile Volunteer Fire Department. Elmer enjoyed being outdoors and being on his tractor. Elmer is survived by his wife, Betty; three sons, Ted, Tom and Scott; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, James Dunham. A private memorial service and family gathering will be held at a later date.
