Eric James Korotish Obituary Passed away suddenly on Monday, September 20th, at Valley Hospital and Medical Center, Spokane Valley. Eric was born on March 2, 1961 in the state of New York. Eric graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL, with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Eric served in the United States Air Force as an Electronic Warfare Officer from 1984 to 1991. After leaving the Air Force, Eric graduated from Eastern Washington University with a BA degree in Accounting. Eric was employed as an Accountant at World Wide Group since 1996. Eric married Nancy Montgomery on August 2, 1991 in Coeur d'Alene, ID and they resided in Spokane Valley. Eric was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where he served on the Church Council and as Treasurer. Eric was also involved with Inland Northwest Skating Club and served on the Board of Directors. Eric enjoyed golf, camping, biking, and snow skiing. Eric's passion in life was his family and friends. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, neighbor, friend and co-worker. He was kind hearted and was a true friend to many. Eric had a unique sense of humor and an uncanny ability to make people laugh at the drop of a hat. Eric's family loved him with all their heart and he will be immensely missed. Eric is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughters Kelly (23) and Emily (16), and son, Paul (12), Spokane Valley; brother, Paul Korotish (Spokane Valley, WA); sisters, Arla Korotish (Crofton, MD), Sonia Seoul (Mansfield, MA). He was preceded in death by a daughter, Katie Rose; and his father and mother, Paul and Helen Korotish. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 24, 2010, 1:00 PM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2511 S Pines, Spokane Valley.
