Born in Spokane to Magdaline and Erland Johnson August 23, 1919 and died on January 22, 2014. She was preceded in death by a daughter Christine Oman and brothers Darroll and Kenneth Johnson. Esther is survived by her husband of 43 years Bud Andy Anderson; daughter Jeanine Lambert; grandchildren Kristine Garner, Jason, Mathew and Karoline Lambert; seven great-grandchildren; step-children Tom, James, Richard and John Anderson, Connie Mennard and their families; siblings June Blakemore, Leroy Johnson and Lavonne Shaw; numerous nieces and nephews. She was a longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Sons of Norway Lodge, Red Hat Society and Rogers H.S. Alumni Association. Visitation will be Friday, January 24, 2014, 8-11AM followed by a Funeral Service at 12 Noon at Heritage Chapel. A special thanks to the wonderful staff of Royal Park for the care and compassion given to Esther.
