Eva (Scheideman) LeCaire Obituary Eva (Scheideman) LeCaire was reunited with her loving husband in their eternal home on June 16, 2018. Eva was born in Dusty, Washington, and relocated to Spokane upon her high school graduation. It was there that she met Oliver (Noonie) LeCaire, and they were married on September 10, 1949, and resided in Spokane for the remainder of their lives. Eva worked for the Farm Credit Bank for nine years and retired in November 1987. Her retirement years were spent taking family vacations, sewing, gardening, decorating her home, and enjoying her grandson. Above all else, she held the roles of wife, mother, and grandmother the most important and was always there for us when we needed her. She was predeceased by her husband Oliver in 2015 as well as brothers Ben Scheideman and Dan Scheideman and sister Helen Balsa. She is survived by her daughter JoAnne and her husband Gary, grandson Dustin, sisters Martha Hibbard, Esther Gentry, and Gertie Scheideman, sisters-in-law Mary Scheideman, Cheryl Scheideman, and Janice LeCaire, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Hospice House of Spokane for the compassionate care they provided. Thank you as well to Evas four excellent caregivers who have been such a blessing to our family. And last, but certainly not least, thank you to our familys angel on earth Gertie who has provided care and support to all of us along this entire journey. Eva will be greatly missed, but we are so glad she is no longer suffering and is flying with the angels. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Hospice House of Spokane North, 102 W. Rhoades Avenue, Spokane, WA 99208. A private family inurnment is planned. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Eva, please visit our Tree Store. Read more Events JUN 16
