Evalynn Mae Gibbs Obituary Evalynn Mae Gibbs got her wings on Monday, January 23, 2017. The life she expressed, in the two and a half years before her departure, was brimming with intentional expression of the soul that she was. Evalynn touched so many lives in her short experience on earth. Each life she touched was contributed to by her zest and beauty of spirit.Evalynn's life was short in time, but those who were touched by her understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her sparkle and lively smile could melt the hearts of those around her and though her life was young, her experience of herself and the world were lived and expressed at full tilt.Although Evalynn's life was extinguished far sooner than expected, she possessed such a strength of engagement with the people and interactions in her space. Her light was vibrant and those that knew her say that her contribution to them was intentional and altering. Her ability to bring others into the moment and get them engaged with life was beyond her age. Evalynn preferred being with people over playing with toys. She could often be found at her school, reading to her friends. She enjoyed creating with PlayDoh, speaking out the spelling of her name, eating McD's fries and people watching. Evalynn contributed to others with kindness and unexpected ferocity of love. She was a light in every room she entered. Evalynn is survived by her parents Marshall and Jannelle Gibbs; grandparents John and Melanie Gibbs, Doug and Corinne Zenner; great-grandparents, Carla Gibbs, Ralph and Shirley Steigers, Harold and Margaret Zenner and Ted Holthaus. Also survived by her loving aunts and uncles Karey and Mike Cannon, Rene Zenner, Ashley and Arty Harber, Elizabeth and Josh Eastmen; and cousins Jovie Cannon, Autumn and Axton Harber. She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather John Gibbs Sr. and great-grandmother Jeanne Holthaus.
