Evelyn M. Hancock

Evelyn M. Hancock Obituary (Age 93) Passed away July 18, 2018. She was born in St Louis, MO to Albert and Josie Webb, and married JD Hancock July 20,1943. In the early 1950�s they began a more than 20 year adventure, living and working in Iraq, Turkey, Pakistan and Lebanon. Evelyn could make a beautiful home anywhere and one of her greatest pleasures was entertaining guests. Up until her last year when she went into memory care, she loved inviting people to her home for a cup of tea and to share stories of her life overseas. Evelyn is survived by her only child, Nadia Warren (Fred) of Spokane; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, and her sister Doris Moses of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, JD Hancock. Thank you to Brookdale North for their incredibly wonderful care for the past year and Horizon Hospice as well. She was a long-time member of St. Gregorios Malankara Orthodox Church where her memorial service will be held at 10 AM, August 18, 2018, 1725 E.
