Florence Lancaster Obituary (Age 85) Florence �Flo�, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2018 at her home in Spokane, WA. She was born November 13, 1932 in Morton County, ND to Anton Wurtz and Daisey Barth. Flo graduated from North Central High School in Spokane, WA. She worked as an accountant in Spokane, Montana and Alaska for manufacturing, construction and mining. She loved the outdoors and the many hobbies it provided � fishing, trapping, metal detecting and gold panning. She also loved wood carving and playing poker. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Flo is survived by her son, David (Debi) Smith of Colville; grandchildren, David R. (Hannah) Smith, Jenifer (Mike) Swim, Michael J. (Amber) Smith; nine great-grandchildren, Rylee, Sydnee, Lillee, Conner, Alivia, Alexia, Leeah, David Allen, and Bree; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Sally, Peggy, Josephine and Anton Wurtz, Jr. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 13th at 2:30pm at Spokane Memorial Gardens, 5909 Cheney Spokane Rd., Spokane, WA 99224.
