Frances H. Anderson Obituary (Age 85) Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Frances passed away at home with her family by her side after a long fight with Alzheimer?s. Frances was born on April 22, 1927 in Everett, WA to Elmer and Carrie Hunter. She moved to Spokane at the age of six and attended Roosevelt Elementary and Lewis & Clark High School. She attended Washington State University and graduated in 1949 with a B.A. in music with an emphasis on piano as well as a Teaching Certificate. On August 21, 1949 Frances married C. William Anderson ?Bill.? She taught music at North Central until she became a full time mother. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma at WSU, Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church and she was a charter member of the Hamblen Park Garden Club. Frances was preceded in death by her mother, Carrie. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, C. William Anderson; children: David Anderson, Christine Anderson-Hannas (Wayne), and Carol Lynn Williams (Jim), as well as her brother David Hunter (Dewi); grandchildren: Dawn Glass and Heidi Melton and great-grandchildren Charlotte and Frances Glass. A Memorial Service will be held at Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church, 4102 S. Crestline, on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 2:30PM.
