Frances Lee Houtz Obituary Frances Lee Houtz, born in Alameda, CA on January 3, 1939, passed away on January 2, 2017 in Spokane, WA. She was preceded in death by her mother Beulah Bernard and her husband, Raymond Houtz. Frances was a High School Graduate. She and Raymond were married on September 26, 1958 in Chula Vista, CA. Preceding her move to Spokane, WA she spent 25 years in Kalispell, MT. She was an avid quilter who also enjoyed sewing and knitting things for family and friends. She also loved to read, play cards and other games, and visiting with friends and loved ones in general. She was a member of Southside Senior Center where she met some truly wonderful people. She is survived by her daughter Lisa and her son-in-law Cris Spencer. She is also survived by her other daughter Lynda Nelson. She has five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren who will all miss her deeply. In lieu of flowers or cards the family asks that donations in memory of Frances be made to Hospice of Spokane at 121 S. Arthur St., Spokane, WA 99202.
