Frances Pearl (Thoren) Culver Obituary (Age 93) Frances passed away peacefully on May 28, 2018. She was born to Alben and Josephine (Donckers) Thoren in Seattle, WA and grew up on the farm in Bridgeport, WA. She then moved to Spokane where she worked at the phone company until she married Forrest Culver; they were married for 51 years until he passed in 1998. Frances also worked at their business, S&E Plumbing, in the office and loved sorting the old parts and pieces for recycling. Her family was her life � they brought her so much joy. She loved all children, and had her own preschool in the basement of her home. Helping others was what she lived for, and she would help anyone in need, no questions asked, and expected nothing in return. She also enjoyed putting on yard sales, sewing, and jig saw puzzles. Her love for crocheting was evident as many family members and friends have the wonderful afghans she created. Frances is survived by her three daughters, Linda (Barry) Adams, Rene (Curt) Miller and Barbara (Duane) Steiner; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 7th from 10am � 5pm and on Friday, June 8th from 8am � 5pm at Heritage Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 9th at 10:30am at Heritage Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
