Frances T. (Krauss) Rogers Obituary (Age 89) Frances T. Rogers was born in Spokane, Washington on October 1, 1927 to Jacob and Theodora Krauss. She went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 21, 2017. She attended McKinley Grade School and graduated from Libby High School. She married Forrest Bauer in 1949 and they had a daughter Cheryl Anne. They also had two sons Richard and Russel who are now deceased. After a divorce Fran married Bruce Rogers in 1956 and they were married for 60 years. Fran was a homemaker and was a fabulous cook and baker. Twice in 1980 and 1988, she was chosen to be a contestant in the Pillsbury Bakeoff Contest in Miami Beach and San Diego. Fran was an avid flower and vegetable gardener and landscape and nature artist. Fran and Bruce founded Rogers Foto Art, a note card company and operated it from 1981 to 1996. Fran was the photographer including the lighting and composition. Her images are throughout Spokane and the Inland Northwest. Her siblings were Jacob, Robert and Vera all deceased and shes survived by brothers Joe of Spokane, and Walter of Atlanta. There were no grandchildren but she has many nieces and nephews. A private burial will held be at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. A celebration of life service will be held at Maplewood Gardens on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 1PM.
