Francine Sybil Tauber Obituary (Age 82) Passed away January 2, 2017. She was born July 26, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY to Hyman and Dotty (Goldstein) Tauber. She attended high school in Brooklyn. She owned and operated a ballroom dance studio. In 1964 she moved to California. She had one daughter Lisa. In 1967 she moved to Arizona and worked as a bookkeeper and dress designer in Phoenix. In 1988 she moved to Los Angeles where she worked as a textile designer and bridal dress designer. She retired to Spokane in 1999 to be with her family. She loved Big Band music and jazz, was an avid reader, enjoyed modern art and cooking. Francine was a member of Temple Beth Shalom. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Freeman and son-in-law Kevin Freeman; grandson Nathaniel and granddaughter Abigal all of Spokane; younger brother Steven Tauber and sister-in-law Colleen Tauber of Las Vegas, NV. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Service 1PM Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Home followed by interment at Mt. Nebo Cemetery.
