Frank "Smokey" Mosso Obituary (Age 86) Frank was born July 29, 1927 in Spokane, WA to Joseph and Emily Mosso. He flew away with the angels on April 21, 2014 at the Vesta Adult Family Home. His caregiver Jim had made him laugh and put up with his shortcomings. He graduated from North Central High School and was drafted into the Army at the end of the Second World War and then joined the reserves where he was an airplane mechanic. Frank was an instructor, commercial pilot and later an aviation mechanic. He is survived by his sister Marian (Bill) Adams, nephews Terry (Audrey) Adams, Jeff (Gail) Adams, couisns Diane (Bob) Barthell, Marilu (Terry) Pedigo, Andy (Sylvia) Griesbaum, and several other cousins in Pennsylvania and Texas, one great-nephew Kelly and one great-niece Stephanie. A Celebration of Smokeys life will be held Saturday, May 17th at Das Stein Haus, 1812 W. Francis from 2:00 4:00 pm. Donations may be made in his name to the Inland Northwest Chapter Alzheimers Association, 910 W. 5th, Suite 256, Spokane, WA 99204, or Gentiva Hospice, 22820 E. Appleway Ave, Liberty Lake, WA 99019.
