Freddie Xavier Byerley was born May 15th, 2019 to Niki Lovitt and Freddie Byerley in Newport, Washington. During his short time here on earth, Freddie's contagious smile and fun-loving attitude touched everyone he came across. Freddie enjoyed spending time with his family, playing outside, riding his motorcycle, playing with cars, and enjoyed watching and playing with superheroes. Freddie especially enjoyed hanging out with his older brothers and wanted to be just like them. Unfortunately, Freddie was taken from us way too soon. On March 20th, 2025 Freddie was playing baseball outside with his family. He was struck with a baseball and sadly he did not survive this tragic event.

Freddie is survived by his mother Niki Lovitt, his father Gordon Christenson, his brothers Kaden, Jerry and Zack, and his sisters, Trinity, and Elli. He is forever in our hearts and missed by loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who shared in his life and supported him with love. Freddie also had many friends, classmates and neighbors who are also mourning the loss of this little boy. He will be missed dearly.

While we may never know why he was taken from us at such a young age, our family is taking comfort that he is in heaven with God and being well cared for. We invite anyone who would like to attend Freddie’s services to do so.

Visitation will be held April 7th, 2025, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Spokane, Washington. A celebration of Freddie's life will be held at the Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday April 12th.At 2:00pm.
