Gary J. Steinmetz Obituary (Age 56) Gary passed away peacefully on February 27, 2015. He was born in Spokane on January 25, 1959 to John and Pearl Steinmetz. Gary was a lifetime resident of Spokane and worked for Kaiser for over 20 years before retiring. He had a great passion for drag racing and thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the track. Gary was preceded in death by his parents John and Pear Steinmetz. He is survived by his daughter Brittany Marie Patterson, his sister Janelle Phelps, nephew Chris Ramelow and his wife Betty, great-nephews Johnnie Jessen and Ashton Jessen and great-nieces Christina Ramelow, Shannon Phelps and Emily Phelps. A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Heritage from 10:00AM to 5:00PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Heritage on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 11:00AM.
