Gary Lee Bosworth Obituary (Age 65) Gary Lee Bosworth, age 65, passed peacefully into the Lords loving hands on June 16, 2016 in Spokane, WA. He succumbed to complications from leukemia. Born to Charles W. and Eileen E. Bosworth (Hydorn) in Cleveland, OH on September 10, 1950, he spent 13 of his young years there before the family moved to Rialto, CA. There he graduated from Pacific High School as a member of the FFA. After graduation, Gary served as a Hot Shot crew member for the US Forest Service. Upon leaving California he entered the US Navy and served from April 1970 to March 1974 on the USS Saratoga, CV60. It was in 1973 that Gary met the love of his life, Kathryn Gammill in Norfolk, VA. And it was there that Gary heard about the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Believing what the Bible says about salvation, Gary accepted Jesus as his Savior, making sure that his bride understood and followed suit. From there, they moved to Colville, WA where Gary worked for Boise Cascade for 24 years. Leaving Boise, he pursued a business opportunity and then decided to move closer to their three boys in the Spokane area. He worked at Whitworth University as a groundskeeper from 2004 - 2012. Illness caused early retirement. When Gary moved to Airway Heights in 2005, he remained active in his faith, his family, and his church, serving as a faithful servant to the Lord. He is survived by his wife Kathryn Bosworth, at the home; sons: Jeremy (Angie) Bosworth / Tyler, WA, James Bosworth / Post Falls, ID, and Miles (Nicki) Bosworth / Rathdrum, ID; grandsons: Austin Johnson-Bosworth, Kaden, and Skye Bosworth; granddaughters Brianna (Jake) Robb and Saige Bosworth; great-grandchildren Landon and Emma Robb; brother Jim Bosworth and sister Deborah Hancock; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Bosworth; and great-grandson, Isaac Robb. Visitation will be held on June 23, 2016, at Airway Heights Baptist Church; 12322 W. Sunset Hwy; Airway Heights, WA 99001, from 12:00 to 1:00pm, the Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, WA. at 3:00pm.
