Gary Maurice Johnston Obituary Gary, of Spokane, WA passed away on April 22, 2015. He had suffered a long hard battle with COPD. He was born in Glasgow, MT on May 11, 1948; the son of Clifford and Ida Johnston. Gary grew up and attended schools in Glasgow. After high school he moved to Great Falls, MT where he met Bonnie Clark who would become his wife on November 18, 1967. He was employed by the Bonanza Meat packing Company in Great Falls and later transferred to the Spokane facility. In the later years he worked for Deer Park Heating & Air Conditioning, Sterling Business Forms and delivered the Spokesman Review newspaper for 30 years. Gary was well respected and loved by all who knew him. He was hardworking and took good care of his family. He had a unique sense of humor and loved to visit with friends and family. Every time someone asked Gary about his children he never failed to say how proud he was of them. In later years Gary?s hobby was cutting pictures with his scroll saw. He did exceptional work and tried to make a picture for each family member. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bonnie; daughter Michele Rogers of Spokane; son David (Gloria) of Lynnwood, WA; son Jason (Jackie) of Odessa, WA; son Caleb (Melody) of Moses Lake, WA; daughter Megan (Chad) of Spokane, and grandchildren Katyanna, Sidney, Samara, Abby, Brandon, Clifford, Jordan, Payton, Bradley, Eric, Colton, Cady, McKenna, and Aiden. He is also survived by sisters, Doris (Albert) Franzen of Glasgow, MT; Shirley Clark of Belgrade, MT, Faye Thompson of Wenatchee, WA; Penny Dunkin of Belgrade, MT; brother, Bud (Rita) Johnston of Belgrade, MT; and numerous nieces & nephews. He will be greatly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on April 25 at 10:00 AM at Heritage Chapel.
