George W. Bick III

George W Bick III, lived a very active life until the age of 82. He was always looking for new adventures despite his challenges with walking.


He was born on January 26th, 1944, in Los Angeles, California to George and Shirley Bick. He lived in many areas of the United States and Guam during his childhood but lived in Spokane most of his life. At the age of 9, he was joined by his bother Jeff (wife Debbie) and at age 11, brother David (wife Myong Suk). They enjoyed many great times at Diamond Lake!

He graduated from Shadle Park High School and the University of Oregan frequently stating, "Once a Duck always a Duck".


George's entire work career was with the State of Washington retiring as a Parole and Probation officer.


He is survived by his wife Kari, children: Jerry (wife, Pon) Bick and Jennifer (husband, Chad) Fairchild. Grandchildren who he enjoyed spending a lot of time with: Geordon, Jaiden, Chay, Jazmyn (fiancé, Kaydrien), Jillian and Mena. Great-grandchildren: Sofia and Aayliah. Honorary great-grandchildren who brought him great joy: Amerah, Wesley, Elianna, Isabella and Enzo. He was greeted in heaven by his parents George and Shirley Bick.


Please join us in the celebration of George's life at Heritage Funeral Home 508 N. Government Way. Spokane WA. 99224 on Friday, March 27th from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, with internment to follow at Fairmount Memorial Park 5200 W. Wellesley Ave, Spokane, WA 99205.
