Georgia Evelyn (Miller) (Pantzar) Stanley Obituary (Age 92) Georgia was born on December 23, 1919 in Colfax, WA to Ellery Miller and Pauline Kroll. She graduated from Kinman Business University. Georgia worked for the war department at Galena at Fairchild AFB during World War II. After the war she went to work for the Internal Revenue Service in Spokane where she stayed until her retirement. In 1949 she married Walter Pantzar. Together they built a cabin at Priest Lake, ID. Georgia loved Priest Lake and spent all her vacations there every year. Walter passed away in 1972. In 1980 Georgia married Alfred Stanley, a musician and they enjoyed many years of dancing with different groups in the Spokane area. Alfred passed away in 2007. Georgia spent the last four years of her life as a resident of Fairwinds Retirement Community. Georgia is survived by her brother Marshall (Lucile) Miller; and stepchildren: Ronald (Barbara) Pantzar, Ginger Nikula, Richard (Tina) Stanley and Margaret Naccarato. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Howard and stepdaughter Che Che Boekenoogen. Georgia was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Union Gospel Mission or a charity of your choice . A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 10:00AM at Heritage Funeral Home.
