Georgia L. Papini

Georgia Lorraine Papini (Williams) passed away November 5, 2024 with family beside her. She was born May 31, 1947 in San Francisco, CA to George and Betty Williams. She met her sweetheart, Roger Papini while attending high school. They were married fifty years until his passing in 2018.  The two were a committed team that raised four children thru the ups and downs of life. Georgia was many things over the years including a hard working, nurturing mother and grandmother, an empathetic listener, an excellent cook, a horsewoman, and a football fan. She enjoyed visits from her kids, grandkids and her great granddaughter, gabbing for hours on the phone with her sister- in-law, singing along to the radio in the car, and playing with her dog Lincoln. Georgia just enjoyed life.  She demonstrated to those around her that meekness isn’t weakness but a strength and quality toward which we should strive. Though we miss her, we know she has been reunited with loved ones in Heaven and we have the opportunity to see her again.

A funeral service was held Wednesday November 13th, 2024 at Heritage Funeral Home in Spokane, Wa. The family would like tothank Hospice of Spokane for mom’s supportive care.
