Gerald Dale Hoyt Obituary Jerry was born on December 22, 1948 to Dale and Marcella Hoyt in Spokane Washington. He graduated from John R. Rogers High school in 1967. Jerry served in the Army from 1969 to 1975 with a tour in Vietnam. He worked in the grocery business for 30 years working for Tidymans, Golden Grain and SuperValue. Jerry loved the challenge of a sale and a great ad campaign. He always loved a good joke and was known for many. In 1990 he built a home in Riverbend on the Pend Oreille River where many great friends gathered (POP TOP PARADISE). He retired in 2010 and he and his wife enjoyed the river and weekend trips to the casino. Jerry is survived by his wife Deborah, brother Doug (Gina) Hoyt, sister Carla Riddle, step daughter Kristin (Eric) Martzall, and three granddaughters, Katie, Mackenzie and Emma. The family wishes to thank Ann and Richard Kinzer, Dale and Karen Montague and John Distefano for their love and support. Memorial contributions may be made to a veteran?s charity of your choice. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley Ave at 3:00 pm with a Celebration of Life from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the family home.
