Gerald "Jerry" Belcher Obituary (Age 53) Passed away July 31, 2010 in Veradale, WA. Jerry was born April 27, 1957 in Shelby, MT to Gerald Marvin and Carol A. Belcher. Jerry was the oldest of 4 children. He graduated from University High School in 1976 and attended Spokane Community College for classes in carpentry. He went to work for his grandpa and grandma on the farm in Montana from 1976-1979. He then came back to Spokane and worked for his dad in construction and manufacturing Floor King Floor Polishers. In 1987 he moved to California where he did janitorial work and also owned a restaurant. He married Flasha Merris in 1989 and returned to Spokane in 1991. Jerry loved nature, cherished the small things in life, always helped others, and was a good dad. Jerry is preceded in death by his uncle Robert Belcher in 1993, and is survived by his children Cameron (Age 17), Steven (Age 6); parents G. Marvin and Carol Belcher; brothers Danny (Teresa), Ricky (Lois); a sister Carrie (Eric); grandmother Beva Bingham; aunts Judith Wentling, Marjorie Tenney, Janet Bielen, Marie Fanning and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Monday, August 9th at the Heritage Chapel, 508 N Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224 with a Graveside to follow. Memorial Contributions can be made to Hospice of Spokane, P.O. Box 2215 Spokane, WA 99210.
