Gerald Lee "Jerry" Smith Obituary (Age 80) Passed away at home April 24, 2017. He was born July 27, 1936 in Spokane to David and Winnifred Smith. He graduated from North Central High School in 1954. He married his wife Lois in 1955 and together they had two sons Dirk K. and Michael J. Smith. Jerry acquired Als Body and Fender Repair Inc in 1968 and he and Lois ran it together for 35 years. Jerry was an avid fisherman, hunter and skeet shooter and a member of the WA State Skeet Shooters Assn. He was inducted into the W.S.S.A. Hall of Fame in 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Daryl and David. He leaves behind his wife Lois of 62 years; 2 sons and daughter-in-law Claudia Smith; two grandchildren Erin Harrison and Chad Smith; two great-granddaughters Rylynn and Haley Harrison. At his request, there will be no service. Memorial contributions may be made to Horizon Hospice, Kennedys Disease Assoc.(a form of ALS) or a charity of your choice.
